We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client’s behalf for a person in the following role:
A Fund Accounting Assistant Manager should be capable of managing a team of up to seven employees while supporting their development and the overall growth of the NAV team.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct quality control reviews of cash, position, and market value reconciliations.
– Ensure timely resolution of outstanding cash and position reconciliation items.
– Review fund pricing and corporate actions.
– Analyze and validate profit and loss reports.
– Review income and expense accruals, including fee calculations and trading accruals.
– Verify fund trial balances and profit allocations to investors.
– Liaise with internal service departments to resolve fund-related issues.
– Respond to client queries efficiently and professionally.
– Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
– Minimum of 5 years’ experience in hedge fund administration.
– Strong knowledge of fund accounting systems, financial products, and processes.
– IT proficiency.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
– High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
– Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
– Adaptability and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
– Commitment to professional development—pursuing or holding an accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ACA) is an advantage but not required.
