We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client’s behalf for a person in the following role:
• Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Stress Testing Framework to strengthen risk management in the context of Regulatory Reporting
• Liaise and coordinate with key Risk Stewards throughout stress testing cycles to ensure activities are delivered within both regulatory and internal deadlines
• Assess stress testing methodologies and related controls relevant to Regulatory Reporting, including the selection of scenarios and underlying assumptions.
• Evaluate Balance Sheet and Cost Projection processes and controls across business lines globally, offering constructive challenge to approaches proposed by Risk teams
• Contribute to organizational readiness for responding to stress scenarios, including transitions into recovery or resolution phases, from a Regulatory Reporting standpoint
• Provide oversight of Strategic Management Actions processes and their associated controls
• Maintain regular and open communication with Risk Stewards, CROs, CFOs, and other functions through both scheduled and ad-hoc engagement
• Review and challenge Risk and Control Assessments (RCAs), including evaluation of inherent and residual risk, control effectiveness, and related issues, actions, and events
• Strong background in Treasury or Treasury Risk Management within a large financial institution, with solid knowledge of stress testing regulations and processes
• Proven ability to work across all levels of a large organization, understanding risk implications at both strategic and operational levels, with awareness of adjacent areas like Finance, Accounting, and Legal
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience applying change and implementation management techniques
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders and sponsors across regions
• Sound judgment and integrity, with the ability to lead and motivate teams, including those working remotely
• Strong awareness of the external regulatory, political, and competitive environment within financial services
• Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant quantitative field; accounting or finance qualifications are an advantage
