We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client’s behalf for a person in the following role:

What will you do:
• Maintain vendor contract/renewal reports and management information, ensuring the pipeline is managed with enough lead time for review and changes
• Align key parties on Tech/Business strategy and pass third-party requirements to procurement
• Review existing contracts against service levels and terms and conditions, confirming requirements of the technology governance function are met, and facilitate contract approvals
• Support procurement with commercial negotiation, assessment, and deal structuring
• Own vendor financial management administration: raising and managing purchase orders and third-party spend approval workflows
• Build financial reporting/dashboards and maintain stakeholder relationships across Finance, Procurement and senior operations teams
• Manage budgets, forecasts and workforce requirements, identifying process improvements
• Develop and monitor service-level and performance measures, run vendor governance forums, and drive contractual improvements
• Oversee third-party engagement management tasks, vendor risk management, and related reporting
• Proven track record in technology vendor management role within the financial services industry, preferably within multinational banks
• An understanding of Technology operational management requirements for banks and knowledge of the external environment – regulatory, political, competitor and market
• Experience of operating within a complex matrix environment
• Financial and commercial awareness
• Demonstrable experience in driving vendor performance, delivering service improvement plans and managing vendors across all contract types (T&M, Manage Services, hardware and software)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and make data-driven decisions to drive business outcomes
• Organised with an ability to manage a large volume of tasks
• Knowledge of the external environment – regulatory, political, competitor and market
