About the role

Verita HR connects talented professionals with leading organisations across Poland and abroad, with teams in Warsaw, Kraków and London. As our business grows, so does the number of currencies, accounts and banking partners we work with. We are now strengthening our finance team with a Treasury Specialist who will take care of our liquidity, FX and banking relationships.

Responsibilities

You will be the person who knows exactly where our money is, where it’s going and how to make it work harder. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing daily cash positions across accounts and currencies
  • Building cash flow forecasts that management can base decisions on
  • Monitoring FX exposure and executing FX transactions in line with company policy
  • Overseeing payments and bank reconciliations
  • Acting as the main point of contact for our banking partners
  • Identifying opportunities to reduce banking fees and financing costs
  • Developing and improving treasury processes and reporting

This is not a role where you’ll be lost in a large structure. Your work will be visible, your ideas will be heard, and you’ll work closely with management.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Economics or a related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in treasury, or in finance, controlling, accounting or banking with exposure to cash management, payments or FX
  • Practical experience with cash flow forecasting and an understanding of FX basics
  • Hands-on experience with e-banking platforms and payment processes (domestic, SEPA, SWIFT)
  • Good understanding of accounting basics
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial modelling)
  • Fluent Polish and English at B2/C1 level
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable working with banks and management
  • A precise, analytical approach and readiness to take ownership

Nice to have: experience in a multi-currency environment, familiarity with ERP or treasury systems, knowledge of FX instruments such as forwards and swaps.
