About the project: The Messaging Delivery Platform centralizes the need for delivering messages to the bank’s customers over the outbound channels that are relevant to the customer following business strategy. It consists of various evolving systems/components and is undergoing modernization and standardization.
What you will do:
• Developing and delivering high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements, technical standards and project timelines
• Working within cross-functional Agile teams to design, build, and maintain distributed systems using modern technologies
• Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code with a focus on performance, scalability and reliability
• Driving code quality through best practices, code reviews, unit testing and test automation
• Solving complex technical challenges and contributing to key architectural and engineering decisions
• Collaborating closely with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver business value and continuously improve solutions
• Senior experience in Java and SpringBoot and experience with Kubernetes
• Practical experience with Cloud (AWS)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools, GIT-hub, Jira, Jenkins (shared libraries), Maven, Groovy
• Strong knowledge about API design standards, patterns and best-practices especially Swagger and OpenAPI 3.0, REST, JSON, Microservices etc.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization of services via OAuth 2, experience of Kong API Gateway
• Solid understanding of Agile testing discipline, e.g. TDD
• Keep up to date and have expertise on current tools and technologies
• Accountability for the control and compliance of the engineering process, promote innovation and adoption of cutting-edge specialist technologies and practices with the domain, promote development of engineers through coaching and mentoring
