Business Development Manager (Data Centre Facility)

Verita HR Polska is a Human Resources service provider operating under number 5694.
We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client’s behalf for a person in the following role:

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute market entry strategies for the Data Center segment
  • Define strategic approaches for key segments: hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, and edge
  • Identify new business opportunities in Data Centre Energy Solutions
  • Analyze market trends, technologies, and competitor activities
  • Own and manage relationships with key clients, including hyperscalers and colocation operators
  • Lead complex, high-value solution sales processes
  • Structure and negotiate commercial deals
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
  • Create and execute strategic account plans
  • Take ownership of revenue targets and KPIs
  • Report on sales performance and forecasts
  • Advise clients on Data Center power architecture
  • Work with technologies such as UPS systems, cooling solutions, and critical power infrastructure
  • Understand reliability standards (e.g., Tier standards, Uptime Institute)
  • Promote energy efficiency (e.g., PUE optimization)
  • Support clients across the full Data Center lifecycle: design – build – operate
  • Build partnerships with EPC companies, general contractors, consultants, and utility providers
  • Collaborate internally with technical and product teams

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Data Center industry or related fields (e.g., critical infrastructure, energy for DC)
  • Proven track record in selling complex, high-value technology solutions
  • Strong knowledge of the Data Center market (hyperscalers, colocation, enterprise)
  • Technical expertise in: Power topology in Data Centers, UPS systems and cooling technologies, Reliability and redundancy standards
  • Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent English
