We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client’s behalf for a person in the following role:

IT Infrastructure Project Manager (Data Centre)

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager to support a global Data Centre Resilience programme within the banking sector. The role involves managing complex infrastructure initiatives end-to-end, coordinating international teams and ensuring successful delivery across multiple workstreams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end IT Infrastructure projects, from planning and budgeting through implementation and handover.
  • Manage Data Centre service migrations and hardware delivery, from procurement to production go-live.
  • Coordinate five workstreams focused on improving Data Centre resilience.
  • Track project budgets, financial forecasts, risks, dependencies and milestones.
  • Collaborate with international technical teams, vendors and senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective project governance, reporting and compliance with internal standards.
  • Support continuous improvement and successful transition into business-as-usual operations.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience managing IT Infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience in Data Centre service migrations and infrastructure delivery.
  • Experience managing hardware deployment projects, ideally from procurement to go-live.
  • Strong project management skills, including budgeting, financial reporting and risk management.
  • Experience working with global, cross-functional teams across different time zones.
  • Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills.
  • Good command of English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Teams, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience with Clarity would be an advantage.
