Verita HR Polska is a Human Resources service provider operating under number 5694.
We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client’s behalf for a person in the following role:
– Manage accurate and timely daily/monthly NAV calculations
– Lead and develop a fund accounting team of up to 20 people
– Collaborate with Vice Presidents to guide team strategy and client service delivery
– Oversee client relationships and ensure high-quality service
– Improve and optimize fund accounting workflows and procedures
– Review fee calculations, P&L allocations, and complex instrument accounting
– Support fund audits and prepare financial statements
– Lead onboarding and transitions for new clients
– Recruit, train, and evaluate team members
– Address complex queries and escalate issues when necessary
– Coordinate with internal departments such as Investor Services, QA, and Compliance
– Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
– Minimum 9 years of experience in fund accounting, including 3+ years in a managerial role
– Hedge fund or alternative investment fund experience preferred
– Strong systems, product, and operational knowledge
– Fluent English, both written and spoken
– Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
– Demonstrated leadership and team-building abilities
– Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ACA) — qualified, part-qualified, or actively pursuing — is an advantage
