A Fund Accounting Supervisor is expected to oversee a team of up to four Fund Accountants, while actively supporting their professional development and contributing to the broader growth of the NAV team.
-Conduct reviews of cash, position, and market value reconciliations.
– Ensure reconciliation discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
– Oversee fund pricing and monitor corporate actions.
– Perform analysis and validation of profit and loss reports.
– Review income and expense accruals, including trading accruals and fee calculations.
– Verify fund trial balances and ensure accurate profit allocation to investors.
– Work closely with internal service departments to address and resolve fund-related issues.
– Escalate any accounting concerns or aged items to the Fund Accounting Assistant Manager.
– A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a closely related field.
– At least 3 years of experience in hedge fund administration.
– Proficiency in IT tools and systems.
– Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
– Excellent analytical thinking and effective problem-solving skills.
– Keen attention to detail paired with solid organizational abilities.
– Ability to perform well under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
– In-depth knowledge of fund accounting systems, financial instruments, and core processes.
