Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Release Manager to oversee and coordinate the end-to-end software release process across multiple teams and environments. In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineering, QA, product, and operations to ensure reliable, efficient, and well-governed software deployments. The ideal candidate combines strong technical understanding with excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.
Define, coordinate, and maintain release plans and deployment schedules across multiple development teams and applications
Manage release pipelines and deployment processes, ensuring environments are properly prepared and deployment activities follow established standards
Assess release risks, identify dependencies, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to mitigate potential issues before production deployment
Facilitate release readiness activities, coordinate approvals, and ensure all teams are aligned on deployment timelines, requirements, and responsibilities
Support incident response during deployments, including rollback planning and coordination of recovery activities when necessary
Drive continuous improvement of release management practices by monitoring KPIs, analysing release outcomes, and enhancing CI/CD and automation processes
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in Release Management, Software Delivery, IT Operations, Project Management, or a related technical discipline
Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycles, CI/CD principles, deployment automation, and DevOps practices
Hands-on experience working within Agile environments and familiarity with frameworks such as Scrum or ITIL
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and communicate technical topics to both technical and business audiences
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
