Responsibilities
As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and enhancing enterprise applications in a complex systems environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions, support system integrations and contribute to the ongoing modernisation of existing platforms.
Design, develop and maintain Java-based applications and services
Implement new features and enhance existing functionality
Develop and support system integrations and REST APIs
Review technical documentation and contribute to solution design
Troubleshoot issues, optimise performance and resolve defects
Perform security remediation activities and support system upgrades
Collaborate with development, QA and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Requirements
5+ years of experience in Java development
Strong knowledge of Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring and Hibernate/JPA
Experience with REST APIs, system integrations and distributed systems
Knowledge of RabbitMQ and relational databases, preferably Oracle
Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, GitLab and CI/CD practices
Familiarity with JBoss/WildFly and application security tools
English at B2 level or higher
