Senior Technical Business Analyst (Data & Analytics)

We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client’s behalf for a person in the following role:

Responsibilities

Support enterprise data initiatives by analysing complex datasets, defining data requirements, and driving improvements in data quality and governance. Partner with business and technical stakeholders to identify issues, recommend solutions, and deliver scalable data-driven capabilities using modern cloud technologies and analytics tools.

Key responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyse and document business and data requirements.
  • Collaborate with business users, data engineers and data owners to improve data quality and consistency.
  • Design, implement and automate data validation and monitoring processes.
  • Analyse large datasets to identify trends, anomalies and root causes of data issues.
  • Support remediation activities and assess business impact of data-related problems.
  • Drive assigned initiatives, coordinate stakeholders and monitor delivery progress.
  • Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Use cloud-based analytics platforms and data tools to support analysis and reporting.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis or data management roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex datasets.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. Google Cloud Platform, AWS or Azure) and SQL-based analytical tools.
  • Understanding of data quality, data governance and data management principles.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Experience with Python for data analysis or automation is an advantage.
  • Curiosity, proactive mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.
