We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client’s behalf for a person in the following role:
We’re building technology platforms that improve the engineering experience and help teams deliver safely to production. A key focus is automating compliance controls and evidence collection, reducing manual effort and allowing engineers to focus on delivering value. As part of this initiative, we’re developing a Platform Control Automation service that distributes compliance data to the right systems at the right time. This involves working with control owners and tooling teams to enable data integration from the platform. We’re looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to help build this service and drive controls automation for platform tenants.
What you will do:
• Contribute to analytical work to understand control requirements and identify how platform services can support tenants, shaping the approach to automation
• Join the engineering team building automation services, workflows and integrations that enable controls to run at scale
• Apply strong software engineering fundamentals, especially when designing APIs, data models and process flows
• Conceptualise, design and implement solutions that automate controls end to end
• Deliver high-quality, reliable components within the Platform Control Plane, with a focus on operational excellence
• Drive continuous improvement by promoting automation, reuse and smarter processes that increase team productivity
• Strong experience with Java (core technology)
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL or any relational DB)
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, understanding of API-first approach
• Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (e.g. React)
• Basic understanding of Linux
• Understanding of cloud technology platforms (GCP, AWS or Alibaba)
• Experience delivering iteratively in small, valuable increments
• Leadership across global, multi-timezone teams, including mentoring offshore engineers
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills, innovative mindset
