Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring technologies.
Write clean, secure, scalable, and maintainable code following established engineering standards and best practices.
Collaborate with international engineering teams on the delivery of global technology initiatives.
Contribute to reducing technical debt, improving application security, and enhancing platform reliability and resilience.
Troubleshoot production issues and support deployment and operational activities when required.
Drive automation initiatives and help introduce new tools and technologies to improve development efficiency and engineering processes.
Work in an Agile environment with distributed teams across multiple locations and time zones.
Requirements
At least 5 years of professional experience in Java development (Java 11+).
Strong knowledge of the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
Hands-on experience with API development and integration using REST and SOAP services.
Good understanding of SQL and experience working with both relational and non-relational databases.
Practical experience with cloud platforms and containerized environments, including AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and development tools such as Git and Jenkins.
Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and ORM technologies.
Ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural environment and collaborate with geographically distributed teams.
Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
