We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client’s behalf for a person in the following role:
As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and enhancing enterprise applications in a complex systems environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions, support system integrations and contribute to the ongoing modernisation of existing platforms.
– Design, develop and maintain Java-based applications and services
– Implement new features and enhance existing functionality
– Develop and support system integrations and REST APIs
– Review technical documentation and contribute to solution design
– Troubleshoot issues, optimise performance and resolve defects
– Perform security remediation activities and support system upgrades
– Collaborate with development, QA and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions
– 5+ years of experience in Java development
– Strong knowledge of Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring and Hibernate/JPA
– Experience with REST APIs, system integrations and distributed systems
– Knowledge of RabbitMQ and relational databases, preferably Oracle
– Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, GitLab and CI/CD practices
– Familiarity with JBoss/WildFly and application security tools
– English at B2 level or higher
