Last year Magazyn Rekruter covered a story about InPost recruiting prompt engineers. Since then roles related to artificial intelligence in Poland have grown in popularity. Once recruiting artifical intelligence specialists was the exclusive realm of high-tech Polish firms like Synerise. In 2024 there are many more companies looking for artificial intelligence specialist in Poland.

Today the world has become far more global than it used to be. Thanks to projects like the European Union or just because of a global pandemic we now have digital nomads. Before digital nomads rose to popularity, companies had already started to open centres of excellences in Poland. And talented people in these centres were working on global projects for companies from all over the world. Shared service centres may be a more familiar word to describe these organizations.

The talents that these centres look for are usually different to those that Polish companies look for. This has changed with the rise of artificial intelligence in Poland today. However companies like VISA have recently joined other international brands in the continued search for talented Polish employees.

There are local companies also looking for talents, but they are not running recruitment campaigns quite on the same scale.

Which companies are recruiting artificial intelligence talent in Poland today?

In Poland the main portals to check job vacancies include pracuj.pl and Glassdoor. We looked at these leading portals to create the list below. For those who are not familiar with AI, most roles that need artificial intelligence are related to data. There are very few roles advertised with the words ‘artificial intelligence’ in the title. If they are then often the acronym ‘AI’ is used instead. It can often make it harder to find AI roles advertised online. Additionally, most of the roles being advertised in Poland today are based in Warsaw or Krakow. Or remotely.

At the top of the list is Google in Poland. The tech giant is recruiting specialists for roles like Data Scientist or Machine Learning.

Following closely behind are Accenture Technology, IBM and Allegro. The latter is the Polish equivalent of ebay. With a huge Polish audience to cater for, Allegro is looking for Data Engineers. Accenture Technology is looking for Machine Learning Engineers as well as Data Engineers. Whilst IBM needs a Senior Machine Learning Developer and is additionally advertising specialist roles requiring knowledge of artificial intelligence.

Further down the list are companies like Samsung R&D, State Street, INTEL, Token Metrics, and Infosys. Some of these companies are even looking for interns. Samsung R&D has 2 internships in Machine Learning, whilst Token Metrics is looking for a Crypto Data Engineer Intern. In Krakow State Street is looking for a Data Visualization Expert amongst others. Accenture Technology is also looking for a Data Engineering Intern. INTEL is looking for an AI Research and Development Engineer as well as a Deep Learning Software Engineer Intern. Finally, Infosys Consulting is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer and a Generate AI Expert.

Advanced Artificial Intelligence Skills needed in Poland

One of the companies that stood out was Brainly, a renowned startup based in Krakow who is looking for an AI Prompt Writer. Schibsted, also based in Krakow, is looking for a Full Stack Data Scientist.

Meanwhile, in Warsaw, JPMorgan Chase & Co. is looking for a Decision Scientist. One of the emerging big Tech firms, NVIDIA is also on the lookout for AI talent. The leading American semiconductor company has open vacancies for Data Processing Libraries Engineer and Deep Learning Algorithms Manager.

Polish companies are on the hunt for talent too. LOT, Empik and Interia need engineers who know everything about data. Alior Bank is looking for a Director of AI Growth. Agora is another company representing the Polish market who needs Data Scientists. Finally. PGE Systemy, a part of the largest energy sector company in Poland, is on the lookout for a Senior Data Engineer.

There are many more companies who are ramping up their efforts to augment their teams by recruiting artificial intelligence specialists in Poland today.
