In 2010 when Verita HR first opened its doors the recruitment team were mainly working on finance and accounting roles. By 2012 all this changed. The first team member of the HRO Technology division was onboarded, and just like that Verita HR became a tech recruiter in Poland.
It wasn’t enough to be called a leading tech recruiter at the time. The company had only just started its path to recruitment excellence in the tech space. With time, and with new clients, things dramatically changed. It was one of these new clients that left a lasting impression on the team at Verita HR that is worth mentioning. This company was Gemius AdOcean. Today the company is simply known as Gemius. It is an international research and technology company. Importantly, it was founded in Poland and operates even today.
When Verita HR’s HRO Technology team met with Gemius’s Head of IT and Head of the Frontend team for the first time it was in a meeting room. The walls were bereft of any type of picture or even a logo. The laptops of the two gentlemen looked like they had been used by a group of boisterous children in a small village in Siberia. It wasn’t the most compelling environment for a programmer to be interviewed. There was already plenty of competition on the market. And Gemius wasn’t the only company looking for PHP or C++ Developers.
So what was the outcome? Gemius put some posters up. They bought some new laptops. They made the office look like a tech hub. The company started to become good at recruiting.
Who Were Verita HR’s First Tech Recruitment Clients?
It was more than a decade ago, but as every good recruiter should have, Verita HR has a best-in-class CRM system built on the 4d platform. This system tracks all the projects that the company has undertaken since it opened its doors in November 2010. And, when it comes to tech roles, there is a plethora of projects the company has undertaken.
As has been mentioned in previous stories on the Verita HR News site, the company is a specialist in the field of Fintech. Fintech, Finance, Banking, Payments, anything related to cash. Bearing this in mind, it should be no surprise to learn that the first clients of Verita HR who needed help finding tech specialists were from the finance space. The number of clients and respective vacancies continued to grow over the years. Until, at one point in 2014 one of the largest banks in Poland decided that it wanted to work with Verita HR. Since then there has never been a moment when the team have had less than 30 open recruitment processes for tech specialists.
