We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to translate complex business and data needs into clear, testable requirements for dashboard and technology delivery. The successful candidate will work across the full delivery lifecycle, from initial problem definition and requirements analysis through development, testing and business acceptance. This is an IT delivery role rather than a report-production or operational MI role.

What you will do:
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Owners, developers, architects and data teams to gather, analyse and define business requirements
• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data mappings and reporting requirements
• Analyse data sources, business rules, calculations and data quality to support accurate reporting
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure solutions fit the overall platform and integration strategy
• Support backlog refinement, testing, UAT and defect investigation throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Identify risks, dependencies and ambiguities, helping stakeholders make informed decisions
• Ensure requirements address business goals, usability, security and non-functional needs while maintaining end-to-end traceability

Requirements

• Strong experience as an IT Business Analyst delivering technology change within banking
• Experience delivering dashboards, business-intelligence solutions, management information or other data-driven applications
• Excellent requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation and validation skills
• Strong understanding of data concepts, including mappings, definitions, dimensions, measures, calculations, lineage, quality and reconciliation
• Ability to turn ambiguous business needs into clear, prioritised and testable requirements
• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria and supporting development and testing
• Strong stakeholder-management, facilitation, negotiation and communication skills
• Experience working with architecture, data, technology delivery and business change stakeholders
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams across multiple locations
• Ability to work independently, challenge constructively and manage competing priorities

Desirable experience
• Knowledge of client profitability, relationship management, transactions, credit, risk, ESG or portfolio reporting
• Experience with Qlik Sense, React-based applications or comparable BI and front-end technologies
• SQL or practical data-analysis experience
• Experience with Jira, Confluence or similar delivery tools
• Demonstrable experience using AI-assisted tools to improve business analysis or delivery outcomes, with clear examples of practical application, critical review and responsible use
