We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client’s behalf for a person in the following role:
– Design, develop, and maintain robust batch and/or streaming data pipelines
– Build and manage data models for analytics, BI, and operational use cases
– Ensure data quality, integrity, governance, and reliability across systems
– Optimize ETL/ELT jobs and database performance for scalability and cost efficiency
– Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to deliver trusted datasets
– Monitor data workflows, troubleshoot production issues, and improve observability
– 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role
– Strong SQL skills and experience with Python and/or Scala
– Hands-on experience with data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow)
– Solid knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling
– Experience with cloud data platforms/services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
– Familiarity with distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark)
– Understanding of CI/CD, version control, and software engineering best practices
– Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
