We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client’s behalf for a person in the following role:
– Management of the Database Services operations team supporting all facets of Database Services systems in hybrid environment encompassing SQL Server HA Always On clusters built using Terraform and Ansible. Shifts scheduling and management, monthly and yearly reviews, PIP
– Overseeing the Weekend maintenance activities including automated OS patching, Software Releases and Updates, DB Reindexing and other change management activities and scheduled migrations
– Overseeing the BAU PROD and DR systems perations and performance, resource management and budgeting. Adherence to company and team`s processes and procedures and best practices
– Building new automation processes and tools using Terraform and Ansible
– Support of the DWH and NoSQL projects in Snowflake or MongoDB
– Minimum Batchelor Degree in Computer science
– SQL Server and Cloud certification is beneficial
– Proven experience as Database operations manager in 24×7 support system.
– Working expertise with Microsoft SQL Server Always-ON 2019 – 2025
– Working experience with Terraform, Ansible, Packer in Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google)
– Experience with NoSQL DBMS – MongoDB
– Experience with DWH – Snowflake
– ITIL and Agile framework
