We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client’s behalf for a person in the following role:

We’re creating a new Capacity Management team for a global network spanning multiple countries. In this role, you’ll help ensure the network runs smoothly by analyzing traffic, forecasting capacity needs, and spotting issues before they turn into outages. You’ll collaborate with different teams worldwide and have a real impact on the stability and performance of critical services. This is a hands-on role where your insights and actions make a difference every day.
What You’ll Do
• Keep an eye on network performance and capacity to prevent issues before they affect users
• Track and forecast network usage, including bandwidth, routers, firewalls and servers
• Work closely with architects and business teams to understand the impact of changes on infrastructure
• Improve and standardize capacity management processes across the global team
• Use monitoring platforms (like SevOne or Splunk) to spot trends and help improve services – experience with these tools is a plus, not required
• Prioritize work to reduce outages and repeat problems
• Share knowledge across teams and help set standards for how capacity is managed
• 5+ years of experience in network engineering or capacity/performance management in large-scale environments
• Solid understanding of network routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), high availability setups and SNMP
• Familiar with monitoring concepts; experience with tools like SevOne or Splunk is a plus
• Experience working with IT processes and tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
• Comfortable collaborating with multiple teams across different regions
